Henry qualifies for National Cup Finals with Canterbury Hockey Club
Henry Brett (Carlyon, 6a) helped the Canterbury Hockey Club Under-18s advance from the semi-finals of the National Cup as they beat Cambridge City 3-2.
As a result, the team will travel to the National final in Nottingham this weekend.
Coach Matt Lea said after the game: “After a challenging season with the Covid restrictions and lack of game time, the boys have come together, dug in and played with heart, skill and for each other to make it through five rounds and to the finals next weekend. They have done themselves and the club proud.”
