King’s Boat Club Training Camp, Italy
Twenty four King’s rowers flew to Lake Orta, Italy for the annual Easter Boat Club training camp. The pupils made great progress over the week in their set crews for the coming Regatta season and they also looked at some different combinations for future options. The campsite cooks and boat club staff were all extremely generous hosts for the fifth King’s camp in Italy, where they were once again in collaboration with Canford School. King’s thanked the club by donating a Sculling boat for the club, further cementing the great friendship between the clubs. In conclusion, the pupils and staff felt it was a great week despite the rain.
