King’s Talk series continues with ‘The changing face of the fashion industry’

We are delighted to be welcoming Pip Durell (OKS, Broughton 2005-10) on Wednesday evening to discuss ‘The Changing Face of the Fashion Industry: Eco brand building and is there such thing as a sustainable brand?’.

Pip is the founder of sustainable fashion brand With Nothing Underneath. She has spent the last decade in the fashion industry as a magazine editor and a brand consultant, having worked for the likes of Vanity Fair, Vogue and Tatler.

Pip will discuss the changing face of the industry, the trials and tribulations of a start-up and navigating the sustainability challenges facing the clothing industry.

The Talk follows an important lecture by Kenza Wilks, organised by CodeBlue Education, on Racial Injustice and Black Lives Matter last Friday. Kenza, a finalist in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at King’s College London and talked in-depth on the BLM movement as well as racial injustice across the USA, UK and Europe more broadly.
