Matt impresses at British Athletics Olympic Trials
Matt Stonier (OKS Marlowe, 2015-20) competed against the best 1500m runners in the country at the British Championships in Manchester last weekend.
He qualified for the final, which doubled as the Olympic Trials, by coming 3rd in his heat and went on to finish 8th overall in 3:44:53, beating some notable senior athletes.
Having left King’s to study Geography and Sports Science at Loughborough University in September, a number of strong results this season have proven Matt’s pedigree as one of the most promising middle-distance runners in the country.
