Multiple medals for King’s Rowers at Maidstone Autumn Head

The Boat Club had a busy day of racing at the Maidstone Autumn Head last weekend, returning to school with a host of medals.

Remove boys Miles Packard (Marlowe), Freddie Foley (Marlowe), Cameron Fuller (Tradescant) and late shell sub Mars Yan (School House) coxed by Isak Syltevik Dobson (Mitchinson’s) won their coxed quad event, while Bear Cochrane (Marlowe, 6b) and George Gibbs (Marlowe, 6b) won their pairs event, continuing our strong tradition of pairs racing.

The Vth boys also showed tremendous improvement from last term to finish second in their coxed quad race.

There were impressive runs for a number of our girls too, with some experiencing their first-ever races.

Most importantly, it was wonderful to see the supportive atmosphere amongst the pupils, who thoroughly enjoyed cheering each other on at a local event.
