OKS answer 6b questions about university

Last Friday, we welcomed three 2019 leavers to an online Q&A session to share their university experience with current 6b students.

The panel, made up of Harry Trelawny-Vernon (St. Andrews), Amber De Ruyt (Cambridge) and Alex Choi (KCL), have just finished their first year of studying and spoke about how they chose their universities and courses as well as the application process.

They then fielded a host of questions, such as:

  • Did boarding help you cope with being away from home?
  • How easy is it to meet people?
  • What helped you to settle in?
  • What was the jump from A level to university like?

The Q&A usually takes place inside the Green Court Marquee prior to King’s Week, however, this year we took to Microsoft Teams to offer a similar experience. You can watch it below.
