Prep School Rugby Day At King’s
Five Prep Schools enjoyed an excellent day of rugby at The King’s School on Thursday 19th November. Under 11 boys from Junior King’s, New Beacon, Saint Ronan’s, Vinehall and Wellesley House took part in a series of training sessions during the morning before competing in a round-robin of nine-a-side games later in the day.
Expert tuition was provided by King’s coaches under the direction of Tom Hill, Head of Rugby, who organised the day. The boys also enjoyed lunch in the main school dining hall and the day was rounded off in style with a lovely tea at Birley’s Pavilion!
In all, the day proved a great way for the Prep Schools to get their Under 11s off to a flying start at the beginning of their rugby season.
