Prep Schools Hockey Master Class
Nearly 100 Prep school pupils enjoyed a wonderful day’s hockey at Birley’s recently. Girls from 8 schools from across Kent took part in a series of master classes and skills sessions under the guidance of a first-rate range of coaches, including Heads of Hockey Jen Wilson and Susie Rowe, Double Olympian Dirkie Chamberlain, Chris Laslett of Canterbury 1st XI and various junior England and New Zealand players. The day was rounded off with a round-robin fun festival of matches, which gave the girls plenty of opportunity to put newly learned skills into practice.
