Producer Ben Browning (OKS) wins BAFTA for Outstanding British Film
Ben Browning (OKS, Mitchinson’s 1994-96) has won a BAFTA Film Award for his role as a producer of Promising Young Woman which won Outstanding British Film.
The film has also been nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards (Oscars), with Ben as a recipient, which take place on Sunday the 25th of April.
Ben’s award comes after he was recently appointed Head of Content at Archewell, the production company set up by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Promising Young Woman is a dark comedy thriller film starring Carey Mulligan as a woman who seeks to avenge the death of her best friend, who was a victim of rape. The film was directed by Emerald Fennell and produced by Josey McNamara, Emerald Fennell, Ben Browning and Ashley Fox.
