King’s Rugby Sevens Squad reach quarter-finals at Rosslyn Park
The King’s Rugby Sevens Squad reached the quarter final stage of the Rosslyn Park National 7s Vase competition, winning their group and then defeating Ampleforth 33-14 to put them into the quarter final pool of the Vase competition on the second day. It is an amazing achievement, which the whole team should be proud of.
Charlie Watson (Carlyon, Captain of School) has played at fly half in the King’s first XV for the past three seasons and has been awarded a one year professional contract with Saracens RFC. Following his gap year Charlie has an offer to read Natural Sciences at Cambridge University. We congratulate Charlie and wish him good luck in both his Rugby and university career.
