Removes to cycle 100km for NHS

Eight of our Remove boys are preparing for a 100km bike ride on the 10th of July to raise money for the NHS.

They plan to ride around the Kent coastline from Herne Bay to St Mary’s Bay—passing through Margate, Broadstairs, Deal, Dover and Folkestone along the way—with the target of raising £1,000 in donations. The group consists of Harrison MacKinnon, Benny Sharp, Max McConochie, Sebbie Hedel, Tom Royde, Mattia Maini, Henry Baxter and Tommy David.

Speaking to Kent Online about how the idea came about, Harrison said: “I was out for a ride with my friend Benny Sharp and we decided to do a longer one.

“I thought if we are going to do that we might as well do it for charity.

“We immediately chose the NHS given the current circumstances, as they are doing so much to help us, thinking it would return the favour.”
