Segway adventure with The King’s Society

Over the centuries, Leeds Castle has been used as a Norman stronghold, the private property of six of England’s medieval queens, a palace used by Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon, a Jacobean country house, a Georgian mansion and an early 20th century retreat for the influential and famous. It is now one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain.

The King’s Society embarked on a trip to explore this magnificent castle whilst riding Segways.

After an introduction about the Segway and some one-on-one training, the group departed on a sixty minute guided adventure tour which took them through the grounds outside the main castle gardens. They were able to see some stunning views of the castle set amongst the trees with the Pilgrims Way as a backdrop.
