First place in team event at National XC Championships.
Matt Stonier (Marlowe House) competed in the National Cross-Country Championships in Leeds, finishing sixth overall against the best runners from all over England in the U17 category.
He completed the 6km course in 19:08, and the winner was not far ahead in 18:48. Matt was the first runner home from Kent and helped claim first place in the team event and win the national U17 champions cup.
