Solo Art Exhibition: ‘Adorned and Uncovered’

Maddie Reeves (6a, Walpole House) opened the first solo art exhibition ‘Adorned and Uncovered’ this week on Monday 12th March in the corridor space outside of Chums (the new Pupil Social Centre). This impressive body of work explores the physicality of the female nude through a series of large-scale acrylic paintings and body prints celebrating both flesh and form. Drawing inspiration from Yves Klein’s Anthropometry paintings and traditional tribal body art from India, Africa and Asia, Maddie has vibrantly adorned and embellished her works to accentuate and celebrate the beauty of the female form. The show is open for daily viewing until the end of term.
