Tommy raises more money for Mind at Kent Trail Half
Tommy David (Meister Omers, Fifth) has been out fundraising for Mind again, this time completing the Kent Trail Half Marathon in Tunbridge Wells.
He recently completed a duathlon with fellow Fifth-former Harrison MacKinnon (Mitchinson’s) to support the charity after a spike in teenagers reaching out for mental health support since the pandemic began.
Taking on the 13.1-mile distance for the first time and in difficult muddy conditions, Tommy finished in one hour 47 minutes to top his age category and place 12th overall in a field of 600.
A remarkable effort for a worthy cause!
