Watch Oscar’s mesmerising organ recital from Canterbury Cathedral
Oscar Colliar (Galpin’s, 6a) featured in The Organ Show, a festival of online broadcasts from the Royal College of Organists (RCO), on Friday evening.
The piece was streamed on the RCO’s YouTube channel as part of a week-long celebration ahead of International Organ Day.
Oscar’s musical ability and dedication to his craft have been rewarded with the prestigious Organ Scholarship at Trinity College, Cambridge which he will take up from 2022. Watch his piece, recorded in Canterbury Cathedral, in the video below.
The recent move to online recitals meant we could also enjoy Dewi Rees’ (OKS, Grange 2011-16) stunning 30-minute performance from St Alban’s Cathedral last February.
