Sitting the exams at The King’s School Canterbury (UK based applicants)
For applicants attending The King’s School Entrance Exams in person on either Friday 8th November or Saturday 9th November, the following gives an idea of what to expect on the day:
- Arrival in the Pupils’ Social Centre
- Welcome and introduction by Senior Staff
- Online examinations (approx. 2 hours)
- Lunch
- Optional tour of the School
- General Paper (1 hour)
- Interviews (10-15 minutes) and refreshments in the Pupils’ Social Centre
We will ask all applicants to arrive at 9:30am. We anticipate that the final interview time will be no later than 4:45pm
Tours will be available for parents whilst the exams are in progress and candidates are free to leave after their interview. If you are interested in booking a tour, please email Anne-Marie Rigley (amr@kings-school.co.uk).
The dress code for candidates is smart casual (school uniform is not compulsory) and all candidates should bring basic stationery.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any parking at the School. Please click here for local car parks. Please note that St Radigund’s Car Park is the closest.
Further details will be sent to you by email nearer the time.
