Sharing the joy of making music
Sounding Out is a community-focused music programme which shares The King’s School’s resources and expertise with state-funded primary school pupils across Canterbury.
At a time of national decline in music education, it offers the opportunity for each child enrolled to learn an orchestral instrument for free, breaking down barriers such as prohibitive costs and stretched resources. It also aims to inspire, with pupils attending and performing at King’s musical events through the year.
Supporting Sounding Out
Our ambition is to expand Sounding Out to more local primary schools across Kent, helping more children than ever before. Please consider supporting us, as your donation could make a real difference.
