Ages 13-17: preparation for top UK boarding schools.

The International College

The King’s School International College is the modern embodiment of our open, globally attuned ethos. The College welcomes pupils between the ages of 13 and 17, many of whom go on to some of the best schools and universities in the UK.

With specialist expertise and personalised academic support, our students achieve exceptional outcomes, with many being offered a preferential pathway to The King’s School for GCSEs and A Levels.

“Students are taught exclusively at the College but for social activities they integrate with the Senior School as part of The King’s School Canterbury.”

Anne Pujadas-Telmon, Co-Head

16 Nationalities. One Community.

Students arrive at The King's School Canterbury, International College from across the world, bringing different languages, cultures and experiences.

They leave with much more than excellent academic preparation.

They leave with:
🌍 Global friendships
🌍 Greater independence
🌍 Cultural confidence
🌍 Lifelong memories

From September, our community of just 75 students will represent 16 different nationalities, creating a truly international environment where students learn from one another every day.

Being part of such a diverse community prepares our students not just for their next school, but for life beyond.

With a limited number of places still available for September, we'd love to welcome more students to our international community.

At King's International College, our small class sizes are no accident.

With a maximum of 12 students per class, every learner is known individually.

That means:
✔ More personalised teaching
✔ Greater confidence in the classroom
✔ Individual academic support
✔ Strong relationships with teachers
✔ Outstanding outcomes

It is one of the reasons so many students flourish with us before progressing to leading UK boarding schools, including The King's School Canterbury.

We are still accepting applications for September entry - get in touch with our friendly admissions team for further information - icadmissions@kings-school.co.uk or via links in bio.

Mrs Yalcinkaya, Mother of Berrak from Turkey, recently shared a wonderful testimonial about their experience with us.

“We would wholeheartedly recommend the King’s School International College to any family looking for a school where their child feels happy, safe and truly at home.

As parents, sending our daughter from Turkey to study in the UK was one of the biggest and best decisions we have ever made.

From the very beginning, Berrak felt welcomed and supported. The care shown by the staff gave us real peace of mind. There were many times when it honestly didn't feel like she was away at boarding school. As parents, we felt she was in very good hands with people who genuinely cared about her.

When we spoke to her, she always sounded happy and settled, which meant a great deal to us.

The school’s compact, international environment also made for a very smooth transition, helping her adapt to the British system gradually before moving on to a larger senior school.

The teachers quickly recognised her strengths and knew when to encourage her and when to challenge her. They believed in her and that made a noticeable difference to her confidence. We always felt she was treated as an individual.

When Berrak arrived at King's, she was already a national-level fencer in Turkey. The school's fencing tradition was one of the things that stood out to us and it certainly lived up to our expectations. She represented the school in fencing at national and international competitions, achieving strong results. We are grateful for the support she received through the fencing club which played an important role in her development in fencing.

What we will remember most is how much she changed over the year. She came back more confident, independent, and far more self-assured. That development means more to us than any report or result.

We are very grateful to everyone at the school for the care and encouragement they gave Berrak."

We have a limited number of spaces available for September - please do get in touch with our friendly admissions team if interested via link in bio.

As the year has now come to the end, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your support throughout the year. Your children have worked hard, achieved a great deal both inside and outside the classroom, and have been a joy to teach. We are enormously proud of everything they have accomplished, and the community they have created together has been a real pleasure to be part of.

We wish all our families a restful and enjoyable summer. To our leavers, we extend our very warmest wishes for the next chapter. We hope you carry fond memories of your time with us and go on to thrive in everything that lies ahead. It is a real pleasure to know that so many of our Year 9 and Year 10 students will be returning in September, and we will be in touch before the start of term with all the information you need for the new school year. Enjoy the Summer holidays.

🚶The King's School International College took part in a sponsored 12-mile walk from Canterbury to Herne Bay last week in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Blessed with fantastic weather, the group completed the walk in great spirits and has so far raised more than £1,700 for the charity.
