The King’s School International College is the modern embodiment of our open, globally attuned ethos. The College welcomes pupils between the ages of 13 and 17, many of whom go on to some of the best schools and universities in the UK.
With specialist expertise and personalised academic support, our students achieve exceptional outcomes, with many being offered a preferential pathway to The King’s School for GCSEs and A Levels.

Our students have been busy gathering grocery donations for this year’s All Saints’ Larder Harvest Collection. Thanks to their generosity, we have put together a wonderful contribution to help support local families and individuals across Canterbury.

Front-row seats for a world-class performance! 🎻🎹✨
Our GCSE Music students spent an unforgettable evening at the @marlowetheatre , enjoying front-row seats for a spectacular performance by the world-renowned Philharmonia Orchestra. Directed by Delyana Lazarova and featuring soloist Lukas Sternath, the concert showcased masterpieces by Beethoven, Grieg, and Tchaikovsky, the first in a series of Canterbury performances by one of the UK’s leading orchestras.
At The King’s School International College, we love taking advantage of the incredible cultural venues right on our doorstep. Having top-tier arts facilities like the Marlowe Theatre just minutes away gives our students front-row access to high-level performances, offering endless inspiration for their own musical studies.

Our students took a well-deserved break at @rivals_social in Canterbury over the weekend, swapping the classroom for a bit of friendly competition. Between testing their driving skills on the simulators, bowling, and interactive darts, it was a great opportunity to unwind and enjoy some time together.
At The International College, boarding life is as much about building friendships and relaxing as it is about academics. Having venues like Rivals Social nearby gives our students plenty of ways to make the most of living in Canterbury.

Our students recently took a trip to the Marlowe Theatre, just minutes from campus, for a spectacular performance of Barnum: The Circus Musical. From high-flying acrobatics and incredible live music to inspiring performances, it was an unforgettable evening celebrating the life of legendary promoter P.T. Barnum.

At King’s International College, we expect a lot from our students, and providing the personalised academic and pastoral support they need to meet those expectations is high on our list of priorities.
Our Year 11 students welcomed Alanna Fraser of Character Compass Consulting, who shared practical coaching ideas to help students develop the resilience, focus and mindset needed to thrive in an intensive GCSE programme.
Completing GCSEs in just one year is a significant challenge. For our International College students, that challenge is even greater. Many are studying in their second language to complete a course in half the time it would normally take.
Alanna explored practical tools for managing pace, pressure and focus, helping students understand how resilience and a specific mindset can make a real difference when the demands are high.

Our International College students got stuck into their first cross-country event of the year — and what a great way to start!
The focus wasn’t simply on times or finishing positions. It was about having a go, pushing yourself, encouraging your teammates and making sure nobody was left behind. 💙
For many of our students, this was their first opportunity to come together as an team, and they embraced it brilliantly. There was plenty of determination, plenty of encouragement and, most importantly, a real sense of team spirit.
The first event of the year is the start of something bigger, building a strong foundation together and creating a culture that we can build on throughout the year. Well done, everyone! 👏

Things got a little fiery at the International College as our students explored combustion and flammable gases in a spectacular practical experiment.
Using bubbles containing a flammable gas, students investigated how a gas can ignite and burn, creating an impressive burst of flame. 🧪🔥
It certainly made for a memorable lesson, bringing the science of combustion, gases and energy to life in a way that is hard to forget!
