Our Friday evening music recitals make a welcome return this term on 6th October, with short solos and chamber music items by our incredibly talented pupils.
Ed will start the recital this week by performing the graceful Adagio and Allegro from Bach’s Flute Sonata in E major.
Emily will sing Roger Quilter’s setting of Tennyson’s poem, “Now sleeps the crimson petal”.
Merrill performs another Quilter setting, this time of Shakespeare’s, “Come Away, death”.
Rami will sing Richard Strauss’s stirring song, “Allerseelen”.
Annenora, our Head Chorister, performs Brahms’s beautiful, “An die Nachtigall”.
Evelyn will finish the recital on the cello, with a rousing Rigaudon by Margaret Hubicki.
